"Basma" is a program that highlights entrepreneurs and their success stories, and follows the experiences and projects that have been able to turn ideas into achievements and a real impact on society.
One of its episodes explores the DTEC experience in Isfiya, a project led by entrepreneur Kaftan Halabi aimed at connecting youth to the technology sector through training in cyber, QA, networking, and digital skills, in addition to connecting them with academic expertise and technology companies; according to announced figures, more than 120 graduates have managed to enter the high-tech fields.
The project does not stop at employment, but moves toward supporting entrepreneurship and connecting idea owners with mentors and investors, culminating in work on an investment fund that could reach $40 million in funding, in an attempt to transition from creating opportunities for youth to empowering them to create them for others.
